I'm truly honored and enthusiastic that you chose to visit the Ferrara Film Festival and I hope this will be just the beginning of our long journey together. On behalf of my fantastic team, which made all of this possible, we warmly welcome you!
In 2013 I had a vision: to bring a "piece" of Hollywood in my hometown, Ferrara, where my love, passion and obsession of making movies started when I was a little kid. I'm a man of few and simple words - from Los Angeles, home of Global Cinema, where I live and work, I had the opportunity, thanks to the Institutions of the City of Ferrara, to give filmmakers from all over the World the chance to showcase their movies in this amazing city.
My idea of film festival goes beyond just showing movies, my vision is to create an interconnected creative and industrial system with funds coming exclusively from the private sector. Through the "Hollywood System" we'll put the audience at the center of this "adventure" through a series of special events and movie themed initiatives.
